We just left Chris for the evening. He seemed comfortable and was quiet. The great thing is that although his heart rate is still high, about 114-he is in a normal sinus rhythm. His p-waves were regular. (whatever that means) The nurse showed me on the monitor what she was talking about-I knew it was good because the nurses clapped when they saw it! Chris really likes the swabs soaked in cold water. I told the nurse he would have me soaking swabs and putting them in his mouth all night if he could. I told Carolyn I probably needed to change my name to "Swabbie." Seriously, Chris is stable, his heart rate and blood pressure are good.
