Things keep getting better and better. The kidney doctors just came in and said Chris's kidneys are improving so, no more dialysis and the line in his neck can be removed. Chris is sitting up in a chair and will walk some later on today. He has been nauseous, probably from the dye in the test yesterday, exerting himself, no sleep-just everything. That seems to be settling down, so we will see how he handles a regular lunch tray. Today will be day to focus on improving his strength and breathing. Keep sending the good thoughts and prayers-they are having a definite impact. Take Care. Mary Jo

Chris' reports are the highlight of my day. It is so good to read such positive things each morning. Even hospital food tastes good when you have been on a steady diet of IV fluids! Thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Mary Jo,
I hope things continue to pick up and your long stay comes to an end soon. We miss you around here. Hope the family is hanging in there and as Chris' strength returns so will the family's.

Yea! No more dialysis and fewer lines!! Tell Emily she better plan on fixing her Dad some of her wonderful potatoes before too long! I know Chris would rather eat food that his family fixes, but after no food, anything would taste good. We are so pleased!Bob called to check on Chris and Bill Green called and talked to Mom last night for a while. Mom had her carotid doppler study today an should have results soon. (I watched.) Love and kisses to all. Prayers will continue!
