Although this blog started out as a daily update on Chris Johnson's heart surgery, I am using it now to post about the happenings in my life since Chris died. You can email me at mjmj57@bellsouth.net.

It is cold here in Georgetown. Schools have been closed for three days because of the weather-more snow is on the way so we will probably be out a few more days. I don't mind it now but will not be happy in June! Chris is doing very well since his retina surgery-he was glad when the bubble dissipated and he could raise his head again. The winter weather keeps us at home reading, watching movies and being together. Chris goes to his local cardiologist this week-we are anxious to see what he has to say. The last time Chris saw this doctor was in May-Chris has had a lot of changes since then and feels sooo much better. We are scheduled to return to Mayo the first week in April. They want to check on Chris progress since surgery. Chris will have tests one day and a heart catheterization the next. The drs. want to see how his lung pressures are since the surgery and the decrease in his flolan. We are hopeful the flolan dosage will be lowered even more or discontinued completely. Emily is taking a history class on Tuesday evenings, I have been making cards and scrapbooking, Chris has been working with his fraternity and lodges, Allison is trying to say warm in Boston-it is even colder there. Allison and her friend Nicole are scheduled to come visit us in two weeks. They are driving from Boston and will be here about a week. Needless to say we are all excited. Take care. MJ
